Brass liners add strength and a smooth, solid fold, while a brass thumb stud makes the knife easy to open with one hand. The scales and bolsters are fixed in place with screws, and an easy lock holds the blade securely when open.

The knife comes with a handmade leather sheath in red and black. On this knife, the scroll pattern on the brass bolsters is cut in this way, which gives each knife its own detail. The wood scales carry a matching carved design, so the metal and the wood work together as one piece.

Why Collectors Love Damascus Knives

Damascus steel is made by forging layers of steel together and then etching the blade to bring out the pattern. No two blades ever come out the same, which is why every folding Damascus steel knife is one-of-a-kind and why Damascus knives are a favorite with collectors.
